Every person has a story. Over the years, I’ve become convinced that real change begins when we are willing to honestly engage that story, where we’ve been, what has shaped us, and where we long to go. My goal is to create a space where you can do that work with clarity, courage, and hope.
While I am continuing to complete my clinical licensure, I bring more than 25 years of experience in pastoral ministry and counseling. I have walked with individuals and couples through anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I have seen firsthand that meaningful change is possible, not just coping, but real movement toward a fuller, more grounded life.
My approach is practical and compassionate. I integrate evidence-based methods such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am especially drawn to helping people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns they can’t seem to break, and helping them move toward greater freedom, clarity, and purpose.
As both a counselor and a pastor, I am comfortable engaging conversations around faith for those who want it. At the same time, I work with individuals from all backgrounds and aim to meet each person where they are, whether faith is central, uncertain, or not part of their story.
I consider myself a lifelong learner and continue to grow both personally and professionally in how I care for others. I have been married to my wife, Paula, for 35 years, and we have two adult children. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and relaxing evenings at home.
